Human Resource Development for Municipal Staffs
A human resources development program that progresses from the basics to application is being created to enable municipal staffs to devise improvements to current maintenance and to develop mid- to long-term maintenance strategies. First, the benefits of recurrent and reskilling learning are explained from the perspective of well-being. Next, Video on Demands(VODs) are viewed individually to learn about the mechanism of deterioration, the means of inspection, judgements and measures, and how to utilize traffic flow data. In addition, open experiments and experiential training sessions are held with multiple participants to deepen understanding, as seeing is believing. Finally, a workshop is held in which participants can join with staffs from other municipalities, where they can think about improving the efficiency of maintenance and developing strategies in their own municipalities.
